The associated press announced today that Lt. Governor Dan Mongiardo has announced his candidacy for the Democrat nomination to run against incumbent Senator Jim Bunning. AP StoryThis unfortunately isn't the first time that Lt. Governor Dan Mongiardo has shown bad judgement. No, this isn't a picture of the proud father at his Daughter's wedding. Keep in mind, when their relationship began, he was a 44 year old man and she was a 19 year old fresh out of high school.

Are we REALLY going to run Bunning? I mean I appreciate the fact that he is a real conservative. But listening to the man speak it is starting to get quite worrisome. I would really like to see another true conservative get in the race. Are there any other prospects out there?
